In 2023, Rowoon accomplished a significant acting achievement in terms of non stop filming and hard work, shifting from Destined with you to the Matchmakers in a very short period of time, from one universe to a totally different one. He also proved he can be such a prolific, out of the box actor. His Shin Yu is funny, quirky, tragic, dramatic, heartbreaking, romantic, hysterical, pathetic, gentle and more. Each scene he appears into is always a surprise. His character is the dynamic thread of the whole drama. In the Matchmakers, his Jung Woo displays a series of never ending slapsticks, managing to transform the classic Joseon hero, into an iconic hilarious character, boldly distorting his usual ideal handsome representation. I am confident he is now accepting roles that will allow him to go deeper into his quest for excellency and personal development. He so cleverly choses carefully what he will do next, waving his way into a beautiful future. We are very lucky to witness his formidable unfolding and cant wait to see him in his upcoming drama Takryu, early 2025. Cathieh
